Big Surprise: Now Pelosi Wants To Talk About Benghazi

It was not that long ago when Nasty Nancy Pelosi (Dem, CA) was trying to tell America that we needed to get off the issue of Benghazi and move onto to other more pressing national issues. Of course, this was simply another Democratic ploy to try and distract the attention of the American people and the Republican party.
Perhaps good ole Nancy knows something that we only suspect? Maybe she is only trying to give her party political cover once again? Of course, everyone wants to protect themselves, and Nancy is only doing what a good little Democratic former House Speaker should do…fighting to try and make it so that they are able to cover up another problem in the Obama Regime.
After all is said and done, hopefully we will be able to finally get some straight answers as to what happened during that fateful night/day over in Libya. After losing four brave Americans, we deserve to know exactly how much the White House knew and why the decision was made not to send reinforcements….most likely on multiple occasions. We should also find out exactly how deeply involved Hillary Clinton was in these important and fateful decisions.
Sadly, it would seem that Miss Nasty, Nancy Pelosi does not agree with this. Sure, she talks a good game, but it really comes down to trying to make sure that the Democrats are protected. Using the cover of ‘fairness,’ she recently declared that the new select committee which is being formed on the Benghazi incident should include a number of Democrats. In fact, the committee ‘MUST’ include 50 percent Democrats. Listen:
“The panel should be equally divided between Democrats and Republicans as is done on the House Ethics Committee. It should require that witnesses are called and interviewed, subpoenas are issued, and information is shared on a bipartisan basis. Only then could it be fair.”
Nasty Nancy even took to the social media airways, trying to convince more of us about this. On Twitter, she said that the events were a tragedy, but that for the review to be fair, it must be truly bipartisan.
There are several things that strike me as funny in this. First of all, no one who is objective would ever consider Pelosi to be fair. She has always pushed for every possible advantage she could gain for herself and her party. No problem, that is politics. But for her to claim that it needs to have an equal number of Democrats and Republicans in order to be fair and for justice to really be done is sort of silly. Committees are normally created by the party which controls that chamber. Pelosi knows this as she has been responsible for creating a number of them during her reign as Speaker. Although I cannot state the number (or percentage) of how many committees she created were truly ‘balanced,’ ‘fair’ or ‘bipartisan’ I would lay money on the fact that it is very, very low.
Very few committees are ever even split between the parties. Normally, the majority party includes a few more members of their own party. And the fact that this call for fairness comes from someone who has repeatedly stated we need to focus on something other than Benghazi is also kind of silly. Why would she even bother to do this, unless she is really worried?
