Tensions continue to rise between cops and citizens — this time in Philadelphia.

Three anti-police messages were spray painted in West Philadelphia on Friday after Brandon Tate-Brown, 26, was shot and killed during an altercation with cops in Northeast Philadelphia early last Monday morning.

“Cop lives don’t matter” was graffitied on a fence along Baltimore Avenue and “f--- cops” was spray-painted on a nearby church.

Another graffiti piece, “PPD killed Brandon Tate-Brown” was found on the side of a building, according to CBS.

According to police, two officers in a patrol car pulled Tate-Brown over for a traffic violation. When they asked him to get out of the car, a struggle ensued between him and the officers. When he was able to get back to his car, police say he attempted to get a gun from between the console and the passenger seat when one of the officers fired his weapon.

Tate-Brown, who investigators said had four priors, was struck in the head and died.

The recovered gun from the vehicle was live and reported stolen in July 2013.

The investigation into the graffiti pieces is ongoing, police said.

The Philadelphia incident is just another chapter in a cops versus the people they police — going all the way back to the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner at the hands of police officers.
