So the GOP barely lost this race and we could have won..... thanks a lot GOPe.  Now they hand VA to Hillary for 2016 - which strategically is probably why they were desperate for McAuliff to run.

Whew... comic relief

Ex-mayor Dinkins will be so happy; he'll no longer be the worst Mayor of NYC in living memory.

Even if Cuccinelli doesn't win, this is much tighter than the "had no chance of winning" I kept hearing from ppl excusing lack of GOP help.

If cooch loses this by an eyelash heads need to roll at the RNC

I blame the Libertarian Candidate for this lost.

That was Democrat dirty tricks....... but we lost by such a slim margin we could have won this if Cooch had had even 1/10th the help from the GOP that McAuliff received from the Democrats.

We clearly need a new party.  Not one more dime to the RNC or a GOPe candidate.  EVER.   :patriot:

Rence needs to go..

We have not won squat since he took over the RNC.  He was in charge of GOTV in Nov. 2012 and it was non-existent... the only GOTV in VA today came from the Tea Party and Church Groups... no GOTV help at all from the RNC.

Sarvis had 6.75%. Cuccinelli could have won without that spoiler.

Sad state of affairs when well we were outspent and our own people fought against us..they would rather have a rat than a TP candidate win

You're damn right! I am so mad right now! Young women got him elected. They think they will get more freebies. I hope Sarvis is happy! People like him put themselves before the country.

Drudge just put this up:

VA Precincts Reporting: 93%...

MCAULIFFE 47.02%
CUCCINELLI 46.09%

When following this map: http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/2013/results?pw

why is it that the gop counties are almost all at 100% and the rat ones are just spurting along :pondering:

I don't like being a sore loser, which I am, but I don't trust the democrats at all. This country is going to hell faster than I thought possible.

That is how they win.  Wait until the GOP areas report and then suddenly find just enough votes to win.. Look at Wisconsin and the judge recall election... they thought they had it won and reported Madison and then all of a sudden a GOP area had counted wrong and had double the votes they had turned in and they ended up winning..
