Bengal tiger, lizard seized along with key homicide evidence in Juarez raids

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – State and federal authorities seized a Bengal tiger, a lizard, a vehicle allegedly linked to a homicide investigation, and other evidence when law enforcement officials conducted a search warrant at two properties in Ciudad Juarez on Thursday, August 6.
The searches were carried out as part of an investigation into alleged kidnapping and homicide cases stemming from a killing believed to have occurred between July 31 and Aug. 1.
The operations involved officers from the Chihuahua State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE), Mexico’s National Guard, the Mexican Army, and the State Investigation Agency (AEI).
The first search took place at a car wash in the 16 de Septiembre neighborhood, where authorities found a caged Bengal tiger, a lizard, and four dogs. Investigators also seized a Hummer H3 that is believed to be connected to the ongoing homicide investigation.
