Climate Change is Costing People Sleep

Key Facts

Sufficient sleep quality and duration are essential for people’s health and well-being, but hotter nighttime temperatures are making it harder for people to get the rest they need.

Globally, the average person lost nearly 56 hours of sleep per year due to high ambient temperatures during the 2020-2025 period, according to a new analysis from Climate Central.

Cities across the Middle East experienced the highest levels of climate change-attributed sleep loss between 2020 and 2025.

Across nearly every city analyzed, the amount of temperature-related sleep loss linked to climate change has at least doubled since the early 1970s.

Air conditioning can help protect people from hot nights, but access to cooling is often tied to income, and high temperatures can still reduce sleep when cooling is available.

A lack of air conditioning due to socialist economics and climate hysteria is what's keeping people uncomfortably hot at night.
"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

When I was in the Navy, my berthing area was directly under the number 3 arresting gear and 20 = 30 ton planes hitting right there, with the arresting gear playing out, and the jet blast as they hit the flight deck and went to full power affected sleeping a bit.  The "AC" on the ship was lacking in the South China Sea and it got a might warm.  But amazingly, most everyone on the ship were able to adjust to all that, so I figure global warming then wasn't as bad or it has morphed into something worse to cause sleep problems.

People can't sleep because they are worried about their rising utility bills caused by the Global Climate Change moratorium on common sense.
