AOC lays out Democrats’ first target if they retake the House
June 29, 2026 | Frieda Powers

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) confirmed what many have been warning Republicans about, telling MS NOW that Democrats will lead an “aggressive investigation” into President Donald Trump once they have regained power in midterm elections.

“I played a clip of little Mike Johnson, as I like to call him, laying out how a Democratic majority in Congress would investigate the president, the cabinet, donors and friends,” host Jen Psaki said in the interview on “The Briefing” with the Democratic Socialist darling.

“It all sounds, I think, probably to a lot of people watching and a lot of people out there who were infuriated by the level of corruption, pretty good. But you’ve also talked about a lot of things you deeply care about: health care and affordable housing. I know there are many other things,” she continued.

AOC wants to take on Apple; ‘it’s far, far too big’
June 29, 2026 | Kevin Haggerty

Blurring the lines between “ignoramus” and “demagogue,” expected price increases from Big Tech found New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) leaning heavily on her talking points.

Aversion to Free Market principles perpetually finds Democrats seeking ways to regulate, picking winners and losers where ultimately the average American can be assured to come out worse for wear. Ocasio-Cortez recently demonstrated this as her response to reports Apple could increase the cost of its products left her faulting the company for being “far, far too big” and calling for the pursuit of antitrust actions.

Speaking with Fox News Digital, the Squad member expressed, “The problem that we have is, these big companies, they think they are governments. They want to be governments. They want to have totally unchecked power, and I believe that we need to pursue antitrust.”

“We need to break up a lot of these companies that are far, far too big, and we also need to be instituting consumer protections for people,” she went on.

Some industries have become over-consolidated, sometimes in response to the costs of additional Government regulation.

In the end they, the Gov, always pick the wrong co's to regulate or order to divest.

AT&T for one.  Though some will disagree with me, but I stand by my assertion.
