Mitch should have been out of the Senate ten  years ago, you can look at him  and see his health (mentally and physically) is failing. In and out of the hospital, in his mid 80s. doesn't look good for him.

I sincerely wish I could conjure up some sympathy for Mitch, but I just can't. In the past ten years He has done more damage to conservatism than any person on this planet.

Nope, I can't say that I have much sympathy for him either. Notta.  None.

Turtle flu?

On the other hand, we have him to thank that Merrick Garland isn't on the SCOTUS.

We also have him to thank for killing off the TEA Party, his proudest accomplishment, and starving solid conservative Senate candidates of campaign funds.

I feel sorry for the man only in that it has to be hard to see everything you fought for all your life failing badly. He is the quintessential self dealing, establishment, globalist and this view of govt. has been totally rejected.

The old establishment Senators are being systematically being replaced with conservative MAGA people.
Why vote for Republicans if they won't do what they said they would do.

It's stunning to think how many members of Congress in the past 20 years or so have overstayed their cognitive function (Turtle, Feinstein, Pelosi, Waters, et al.). Same has been true of S.Ct. justices. Thurgood Marshall comes to mind.
We deserve better.

How's his Chi-com wife, Chow Chow, dealing with all this?
