Nithya Raman has suddenly taken the lead over Spencer Pratt in the race for Los Angeles mayor after a massive late vote swing.
As additional ballots continue to be counted days after Election Day, Raman has pulled ahead to 27.1% while Pratt sits at 26.7%. The winner of this contest will face incumbent Karen Bass in the November runoff.
On election night, Pratt held a solid lead of roughly 40,000 votes. That lead has now completely vanished, replaced by a net swing of more than 43,000 votes in Raman’s favor.

These are supposedly mail-in ballots, so they would and should have used the postal service. Don't know the USPS abilities to track and count volume, but these 'drops' should be scrutinized from end to end to see if the ballots were actually legit and not just pre-printed and taken to the voting center.
