‘This Is Submission’: California Considers Declaring Muslim Holy Days as Holidays

Gaffney said, “This is submission. And the way you can tell is the object of these holy days is celebrating glorious conquests by Islam.”

Well, if they also declare a similar number of Christian holidays, (if it's just  Eid al-Fitr and Eid al Adha they're declaring, we already have Christmas and Easter, but it they're declaring more, Christians should get more -- I'd start with Transfiguration and Pentecost), of Jewish holidays (Yom Kippur and Passover, plus more if the Muslims are getting more than two), of Buddhist holidays (this is California), of Hindu holidays,... I'm okay with it.

If the Muslims are getting special treatment, it's submission.
