Demography Is Destiny — And the Left Isn’t Reproducing

In the battle for the future, the side having children may have already won.

Politics is often framed as a battle of ideas.

Elections. Messaging. Media narratives.

But beneath all that lies something more fundamental — and far less discussed.

Demography.

Because in the long run, it is not the loudest voices who win. It is the next generation.

And increasingly, that generation is not being raised by the political left.

For years, progressives have assumed a built-in advantage. “Demographics is destiny” was supposed to guarantee a permanent electoral majority.

This would explain Democrats’ open borders policies, which, combined with generous welfare benefits, add millions of voters electing to continue the gravy train.

That assumption is now colliding with reality.

The real divide is not just race or geography.

It is fertility.

And on that front, the left is losing.

Then explain why the most conservative race in America, white people, have the lowest birth rate. Tell me why I'm not allowed to have kids and can't find a conservative mate.

The problem is Leftism does not need parent-to-child inheritance to propagate.  It will survive quite nicely so long as the Left remains largely in control of American education from pre-school through graduate school. 

Step 1 in fixing this is to abolish the monopoly most states have given to colleges of education (always the most left-leaning part of every university with the exception of the office of student life and departments with names of the form [Affirmative-action-beneficiary-group] Studies.)  Right to teach laws, that let anyone with a bachelor's degree teach middle-school or high-school in the subject they majored in, and let anyone with a bachelor's degree in any subject who has passed a course on how to teach reading by phonics to a large group (anyone of even moderate intelligence can do it one on one with a single child), a course on teaching arithmetic the old "drill and kill" way, and a course on behavioral techniques for class-room discipline (all three courses having statutorily mandated content so no wokeness or other weird enthusiasms can be inserted into their curricula) teach grade school, should be passed in every state where the GOP controls the legislature even for a single legislative cycle.
