Kristi Noem kept her lover Corey Lewandowski close at hand as she made her first appearance in her new job after she was booted from the Department of Homeland Security.

Noem and Lewandowski sat side-by-side across from Guyanese President Irfaan Ali during a meeting in the South American country on Tuesday.

She was all smiles during the meeting, which came just weeks after she was grilled over the supposed affair in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing earlier in March.

Noem dodged questions about the affair as her husband sat behind her at that hearing.

That disastrous hearing resulted in her dismissal as Secretary of Homeland Security.

Trump appointed her Special Envoy for Shield of the Americas — a program meant to fight drug trafficking, organized crime an illegal immigration in the Western Hemisphere.

Lewandowski was an unpaid special government employee at DHS, but introduced himself as her chief of staff and was reportedly wielded major power within the agency.

Noem and Lewandowski are both married to other people, but have been rumored to be having an affair for years.

It strikes me as odd that Noem didn't have a clue as to her husband's double life.  Nonetheless.  You kick him out or you move out.  You get divorced and you move on.  Now she lost her job, she's humiliated because of something that isn't her fault and I believe her boyfriend Corey lost his job too. 

So ... is Corey actually her boyfriend, or is he just some kind of 'normalcy' for her?

Ok ... it's been quite a few years, yet Noem didn't file for divorce or leave the situation? Likely she was devastated, but in the end, it put her career in jeopardy. OR  Is she just now finding out about her husband's 'weird' lifestyle?

Woah I didn't read the article in its entirely.  In reading it further, she's been married for 34 years.  That's a long time for her not to realize that something was a little off with her husband.  :shrug:

I hazard to guess she knew he had one foot hanging over the edge. Hence, seeking solace elsewhere. But why stay married after finding out? I don't get that at all. Of course I only say that because I know what I would do, lol.

Yep, I would have found a really good divorce attorney and gone for the jugular.  Perhaps though she didn't want his 'weirdness' known while she was running for governor...but still...divorce the cad and then run for office.

President Donald Trump reacted on Tuesday after newly released photos appeared to show the husband of former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem cross-dressing in private messages to a number of women.

The images were allegedly part of a trove of hundreds of messages sent between Noem's husband, Bryon, and three women, obtained by The Daily Mail.

The father of three appeared to be pictured in hot pink underwear, wearing a skin-colored shirt with large, faux breasts worn underneath.

The New York Post reported the photos were taken while acting out a "bimbofication" fetish, which focuses on hypersexual, exaggerated physical appearances.

Another image appeared to show Bryon Noem posing with large, fake breasts in a tight light blue T-shirt while making a kissy face.

Trump told the Daily Mail he did not know about the photos and was surprised the Noem family confirmed their authenticity.

"They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that's the case, that's too bad," Trump told the outlet. "I haven't seen anything. I don't know anything about it. That's too bad, but I just know nothing about it."

It is unclear if anyone else inside the administration knew about the alleged photographs.
