Uh, a tariff is still a tax, and everyone of these is going to end up in the same place with the Roberts Court.  There is NO work around when taxation and tariffs fall exclusevly within the purview of Congress.  This is just a bunch of gaslighting and wishful thinking.

Justices out of their lane strike again‼️ They should run for President.  The good news is that @POTUS
 already accomplished most of what was needed—major trade improvements, agreements, and manufacturing coming back to the USA. Plus, there are other provisions he can use. Still a bad decision though.

Why run as President?

They already have lifetime tenure and act above the Executive.

That would be a demotion.

It means Trump Always Chickens Out. Which he didn't here, and actually took a bold move that got slapped down.

But hey, sometimes all they got is monkey poo, so they throw it out there and see if it sticks.

His bold move was +$trillion in commitments to build in America and buy American.

He did not get these slapped down and the tariffs will continue using other laws as he had already anticipated with today's global tariff announcement.

"Let’s be clear about today’s ruling. Despite the misplaced gloating from Democrats, ill-informed media outlets, and the very people who gutted our industrial base, the Court did not rule against President Trump’s tariffs. Six Justices simply ruled that IEEPA authorities cannot be used to raise even one dollar of revenue. This Administration will invoke alternative legal authorities to replace the IEEPA tariffs. We will be leveraging Section 232 and Section 301 tariff authorities that have been validated through thousands of legal challenges."

Am really getting to like this guy who I consider his best appt other than Rubio.

Meanwhile, spending levels are still based on Biden's 2024 budget, with obligatory spending increases included.  Another $2 trillion added to our national debt, all with Republicans running both houses of Congress and the White House.
