A truck driver arrested Wednesday in connection with a deadly crash in Hendricks County, Indiana, has been identified by federal law enforcement sources as Singh Sukhdeep, an Indian national in the United States illegally. Sukhdeep obtained his commercial driver’s license (CDL) in May 2025 after first being apprehended at the U.S. border in 2018 and later released under the Flores consent decree.
