DHS accuses Minnesota Hilton of ‘maliciously’ denying service to ICE agents as massive federal operation kicks off
By Anthony Blair
Published Jan. 5, 2026, 4:38 p.m. ET

The Department of Homeland Security has accused a Minneapolis Hilton of “maliciously” denying rooms to ICE agents heading to the Democratic-led city as part of a massive operation to crack down on illegal immigration and expand fraud probes.

The deployment of 2,000 federal workers, including up to 1,500 ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers and hundreds of Homeland Security Investigation agents, began on Sunday, officials told CBS News.

As the first of the federal agents arrived in the Midwest city, the DHS on Monday accused staff at the Hilton Minneapolis of refusing ICE agents service.

I can't help but notice members of the left and anti-ice virtue signaling businesses behave more and more like Civil War racists and slave owners, wanting to deny basic rights and privileges to people based on their jobs and political points of view and nothing more.  They physically harm, threaten the families, and ignore the rule of law when dealing with their modern version of the slave.

Apparently the Hilton home office got involved and forced Hampton to accommodate the ICE agents, as I thought they would.

Whoever was running the Reservations Desk was certainly a sympathizer of illegal aliens.

Hilton-branded hotel apologizes after refusing rooms to DHS agents as 2,000 deploy to Minnesota

A Hilton-branded hotel in Minnesota has apologized after its staff refused rooms to Department of Homeland Security agents as 2,000 of them have been deployed to the state in connection with a fraud investigation.

"When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations," DHS posted on X on Monday. "This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation's immigration laws?"

One of the screenshots of emails with the hotel reads, "we are not allowing any ICE or immigration agents to stay at our property."

Everpeak Hospitality, the company overseeing the hotel in Lakeville, Minn., just south of Minneapolis, apologized for the cancellation in a statement on Monday, saying that it had contacted the agents to "ensure they are accommodated," according to the news outlet NOTUS.

I'm sure Hilton's corporate HQ realized the implications if suddenly the Federal Government took Hilton, as in ALL Hiltons off the list of approved hotels and the economic cost and came down on the woke hotel threatening to revoke their franchisee .

Exactly!   888high58888  All it would take is one blast e-mail to Gov employees and it would be all over for the Hilton brand hotels and motels.

Most likely it was a local decision by a regional manager, who most likely won’t be employed for much longer, and it wasn’t until national corporate found out about that regional got read the riot act.

Hilton Corporate Takes ‘Immediate Action’ Against Hotel that Barred Heroic DHS and ICE Agents After Journalist Nick Sortor Catches the Offending Hotel in a MASSIVE Lie
by Cullen Linebarger Jan. 6, 2026 9:30 am

Hilton Corporate has finally taken action against the despicable ‘independent’ Hilton hotel in Minneapolis that banned ICE and DHS agents, thanks to the dogged efforts of independent conservative journalist Nick Sortor.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the Department of Homeland Security’s X account shared a disturbing email on Monday showing that Hilton Hotels had abruptly cancelled reservations for DHS officers in Minneapolis for daring to round up dangerous illegal aliens.

The specific Hilton hotel in question is the Hampton Inn Lakeville property.

“After further investigation online, we have found information about immigration work connected to your name, and we will be canceling your reservation,” the email read.

In another email, the hotel warned patrons that “if you are DHS or immigration, please let us know, as we will have to cancel your reservation.”

After the DHS rightfully expressed its outrage, Hilton Corporate announced in a statement that it would investigate the matter.

Hilton Corporate later released a statement saying they had been in touch with the hotel’s independent ownership, Everpeak, who apologized and assured them the situation had been rectified. DHS agents would supposedly be allowed to return to the establishment.

Could be as innocent as having a close-knit hotel staff with a healthy percentage of undocumented employees.

The hotel involved is the Hampton Inn in Lakeville, located outside Minneapolis. According to news reports, the property was purchased last summer for $15 million by Everpeak Hospitality, an entity registered in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Public records filed with the Minnesota Secretary of State in June show that the hotel was acquired through a limited liability company owned by four Indian partners: Parmjit Singh, Amanpreet Hundal, Karandeep Nagra, and Mohinderjeet Kaur.

According to Nick Sorter, the Hampton is still refusing to accommodate the ICE agents, despite the published "apologies" by Hilton and the specific Hampton Inn in question!

Hilton removing hotel that sparked DHS accusations from its systems
by: Ashleigh Fields, The Hill

Updated: Jan 6, 2026 / 11:33 AM EST

(The Hill) — Hilton on Tuesday said it’s removing a Minnesota hotel that sparked backlash from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for denying federal immigration agents from booking accommodations.

“The independent hotel owner had assured us that they had fixed this problem and published a message confirming this. A recent video clearly raises concerns that they are not meeting our standards and values,” the company wrote in a statement on the social platform X.

“As such, we are taking immediate action to remove this hotel from our systems. Hilton is – and has always been – a welcoming place for all,” they added.

The statement follows a video posted by conservative commentator Nick Sortor, who visited the Hampton Inn Lakeville Minneapolis and attempted to book accommodations early Tuesday morning while posing as a representative from DHS.

The majority of Hampton Inn properties are franchisees. they lease the "flag" (Hilton) from Hilton Corp. so they lose their name, and access to the Hilton booking system.

They will be a Motel 6 soon.

Had Hilton failed to respond quickly, I would permanently be boycotting Hilton properties.  Just no excuse for this.

The federal government should sue this property out of existence.
