Liberal Reporter Debunks ‘Bombshell’ Epstein Letter About Trump, Slams His Side As ‘Morons’

Democrats and critics of President Donald Trump have been caught pushing yet another bogus claim linking the president to notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, this time by using a letter postmarked after Epstein had died.

The letter in question is a handwritten note purportedly written by Jeffrey Epstein while he was incarcerated in a New York jail shortly before his suicide on August 10, 2019. It was addressed to Larry Nassar, the notorious former USA Gymnastics team doctor who was convicted of sexually abusing hundreds of athletes.

Nassar was serving his sentence at USP Coleman in Florida when the alleged letter was sent.

It entails Epstein announcing his intention to commit suicide (referring to it as taking the ‘short route home’), reflecting on their shared ‘love & caring for young ladies’ with the hope they would ‘reach their full potential,'” before making crude references to President Donald Trump. The note claims that Trump was engaged in similar activity by referencing the publicly available Access Hollywood “grab them by the p****” tape.

“Dear L. N. As you know by now, I have taken the ‘short route’ home. Good luck! We shared one thing our love & caring for young ladies at the hope they’d reach their full potential. Our president also shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to ‘grab s**ch,’ whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system. Life is unfair. Yours J. Epstein,” the purported letter reads.

Several inconsistencies cast doubt on the letter’s authenticity, however, including the envelope bearing a Virginia postmark despite Epstein being held in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York at the time, making it impossible for him to have sent it from Virginia.

The envelope was processed on August 13, 2019, three days after Epstein’s death, which was ruled a suicide. Additionally, the return address listed the wrong jail where Epstein was held and omitted his required inmate number, violating Bureau of Prisons policy for outgoing mail.

These details do not align with Epstein’s location in a New York jail cell, suggesting the letter could not have been mailed by him under those circumstances.

Despite these inconsistencies, the letter has been widely promoted by a number of anti-Trump figures, including the Lincoln Project. “People are such morons. This letter was postmarked August 13, 2019 — after Epstein was dead — and was sent from Northern Virginia. Other than that, totally legit,” remarked veteran reporter Michael Tracey.
