Minnesota Welfare Fraud Surges Past $9 Billion

This week, acting US Attorney for the District of Minnesota Joe Thompson reported that "in addition to the billion dollars of fraud previously discovered another $9 billion has gone missing. The magnitude of fraud in Minnesota cannot be overstated. Staggering amounts of money have been lost."

Gov. Tim Walz called Thompson's report "one-sided. He overlooks the initiative demonstrated by a number of our state's refugees from Somalia. Though most of these folks are poorly educated and have few, if any, marketable skills, a cadre of clever scammers were able to enrich themselves far beyond anything they could have hoped for in their native land. The entire Gross Domestic Product of Somalia is only $14 billion. Our Somalis showed the kind of enterprise that few American citizens have achieved. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Somalia) came to America poor, got elected to Congress in 2016, and amassed a $30 million personal net worth in less than a decade of public service."

"The 'rags-to-riches' story of these Somalis validates America's reputation as a land of opportunity," Walz added. "Sadly, instead of appreciating their contributions to this country, President Trump wants to deport them. Thankfully, voters are becoming disillusioned with Trump's failed economic policies and will give Democrats the majority in both houses of Congress in next year's elections so we can save the country from the disaster he has concocted for us."

DNC Scraps 2024 Election Loss Autopsy

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Ken Martin has decided not to publish the post-election autopsy the Party has been working on since last year. "Look, we did our best to try to convince voters that Trump and the Republicans are fascists who want to undermine our democracy," he said. "But our message was drowned out by unfavorable media coverage and the inherent racism of white voters. The censorship of social media that was so successful during the pandemic lost steam as more folks began to doubt the effectiveness of the vaccine President Biden mandated. As data showed the vaccine didn't prevent infection or transmission of the Covid virus a majority of people decided not to get the booster shots that are necessary to ensure a steady cash flow for the vaccine manufacturers."

Simon Bazelon, a Democrat who believes the Party must move toward the center of the left/right divide conducted a different autopsy. He said "the Party has drifted too far to the left for normal people. From the fringe issues of transgender extremism, allowing men into women's locker rooms and onto women's sports teams, to a crazy love affair with socialism--one of the most dismal political philosophies in human history--to the undemocratic selection of our mediocre presidential nominee, we lacked a persuasive reason for folks to elect our candidates."

Millions of Tax Dollars Withheld from AAP

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has canceled millions of dollars in grants to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). AAP CEO Mark Del Monte predicted that "the sudden withdrawal of these funds will directly impact and potentially harm infants, children, youth, and their families in communities across the United States."

HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. asserted that "AAP's unquestioning endorsement of genital mutilation of children and an overly aggressive vaccination schedule for infants directly endangers the health of children. There is no good reason for public funds to be expended on the AAP's dubious agenda."

Del Monte pointed out that "we are doctors. Mr. Kennedy is not. We are the experts. He is not. It is improper that such an important medical decision should be left up to an amateur. Science should be left up to the experts. We need to find a judge to overturn Kennedy's awful decision."

Trump Worse than Islamic Jihadists

In an interview with host Leland Vittert on NewsNation, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla) claimed that "President Trump is a bigger threat to American values than Islamic terrorists. The scope of the massacres and atrocities of these terrorists is more limited. Only thousands of people are killed every year in one brutal assault after another both in America and in other countries."

"In contrast, Trump has mesmerized and deluded tens of millions of voters in two elections," the Congresswoman asserted. "Despite the efforts of an almost unanimous media pounding away at him with nearly a 100% negative coverage and despite two attempts to assassinate him, he still occupies the most powerful political office in the world. The only thing worse than this would be if Vance or some other Republican succeeded him after 2028."

Vittert cited the latest jihad atrocity in Australia, asking "how can the murder of more than a dozen Jews by two Islamic extremists not be worse than a democratically elected US president fulfilling his campaign promises?"

Wasserman Schultz pointed out "Trump has closed our southern border preventing millions of refugees from escaping the poverty of their home countries and is trying to deny them the welfare that is their human right to receive. His anti-immigrant stand has led over a million immigrants to self-deport. So, I would say that Trump's millions of victims outweigh the thousands racked up by Islamic terrorists."

Vittert wondered "can we afford to take in everyone who wants to come to America? At what point will the financial burden of supporting those who don't support themselves break the bank?"

"We already have more wealth than we need in America," the Congresswoman replied. "It would be immoral for us to deny someone's human rights merely because we think we can't afford it. Those who are able to work are morally obligated to support those who can't or won't support themselves. A great philosopher once said 'from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.' That is what our government should enforce as our primary federal law."

AOC vs Elon Musk

In related news, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) called Elon Musk "one of the most unintelligent billionaires I've ever met or seen. The wealth doesn't match the wisdom. Sure, he's built rockets, electric cars, satellites, and AI. He's now the richest man in the world, but what has he done for others?"

Musk pointed out that "I have created products that are in great demand. Customers willingly buy them. More than 150,000 people have jobs because of my entrepreneurship. This is what I have done for others. What have you done for others? You currently produce nothing that folks would willingly purchase. You live off of money extracted from taxpayers. If you left Congress you could be replaced by some other drain on our economy."

315,000 Early Votes in 2020 Election Illegally Counted

Fulton County, Georgia election officials admitted that 315,000 early votes in the 2020 presidential election were illegally counted giving Biden the win. Thirty-six out of thirty-seven election precincts had no verified chain of custody for the ballots. "We didn't know where the votes came from," said one official requesting anonymity. "But since they were there we counted them anyway. No one signed attesting to their validity because no one could. We sent them along thinking someone else up the line would sign the verification, but no one did. Nothing we can do about it now. It's all water under the bridge."

DC Police Chief Resigns

Washington, DC Chief of Police Pam Smith resigned after a House Oversight Committee report dinged her for coercing subordinates to fudge the city's crime reports. Rep. James Comer (R-Ky) said "every single person who lives, works, or visits the District of Columbia deserves a safe city, yet it's now clear the American people were deliberately kept in the dark about the true crime rates in our nation's capital."

Smith rebutted Comer's remarks with a hearty "F*** you."
