US Coast Guard makes biggest at-sea drug bust in 18 years

A Coast Guard pursuit and aerial interdiction in the Eastern Pacific on Dec. 2, 2025, targeted a non-compliant go-fast drug vessel. Aircrews from the Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron disabled the boat during the operation. The case resulted in the seizure of more than 20,000 pounds of narcotics, the Coast Guard’s largest at-sea haul in over 18 years. (Credit: U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters/TMX)

By means of shrewd lies, unremittingly repeated, it is possible to make people believe that heaven is hell - and hell heaven. The greater the lie, the more readily it will be believed.

The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.

I'll bet they didn't have a signed warrant by a federal judge to make the bust though.
