I read the original Atlantic article, which is behind a paywall. It cuts both ways on Shapiro, while trying to make him out as a "good" guy and governor who cares about the "little people," it also reveals that he's a ruthless, lying politician just like Bill Clinton. He has also torqued off a lot of Pennsylvania Democrats, including Fetterman, who called him an a*****e, as he quickly climbed the ranks to governor, backstabbing and stomping on a lot of party leaders in the process.
He clearly has not heard of that old proverb by the great philosopher Ozzy Osbourne about being careful who you screw on the way up the ladder because they will then most assuredly screw you on the way back down.
With that said, Shapiro still is a much bigger threat than Newsom in 2028 because he's smarter and more cunning, and far more slippery, and can manipulate voters better.
