During the invasion of legal and illegal immigrants into the US during the Biden years, Catholic Charities made millions.  This was rationalized as a good thing, while the downside was never considered.

Catholic Charities in the US made millions during the massive invasion of immigrants during the Biden years. Many of these immigrants were not vetted, and millions were illegal. However, Catholic Charities generated substantial revenue.

The Catholic Church in the US is in a crisis.  A recent report by Complicit Clergy shows the results of a recent Pew research report:

The Catholic church has been in a crisis and I was hoping that this new Pope would breathe some fresh air into the Church.  He's doing just the opposite.

The same laudable qualities of Christianity which made the ascent of Western Civilization possible, have become the very ones that will in time destroy it.

Tolerance means nothing when those of whom you are "tolerant" want to conquer you and replace the value system by which you live.

Kinda reminds me of the great 1950's movie "Forbidden Planet", in which the Krell civilization on a distant planet was destroyed in a single night -- by a machine which they had themselves created...
