Sidney Blumenthal’s Hail Mary: If Republicans want to win mid-terms, abandon Trump’s winning policies
By Jack Hellner

Here, in the leftist rag The Guardian, Sidney Blumenthal is trying to scare Republicans into running away from Trump’s policies:

In the midterms, Republicans will be footing the bill for Trump’s policies

The abject obedience of GOP members and the 4 November election results do not augur well for Republicans in the midterms.

Somehow, we rarely (if ever) saw lectures to Democrats to run away from Biden’s or Obama’s policies. In the article, Blumenthal claims that Trump is more unpopular than previous presidents, but polls have repeatedly shown that Trump has consistently outpolled Obama and Bush at this point in their second term.

Democrats lost 1,000 seats nationwide in Obama’s eight years. I would say that the media should be embarrassed: even with all their collusive help telling the public how great Obama was, it didn’t really help that much.

It is a shame that Democrats have stuck by Obamacare even though it has caused prices to skyrocket—despite the media and other Democrats lying to the public, saying that prices would be reduced substantially. They never apologize for their policy failures. They just double down.

I think Republicans should be proud to run on Trump’s record and wins.

The problem is, the feckless GOP candidates will do just that.

I'd say abandon the ruinous tariff policy for starters.

Good example of what I meant!

Blumenthal doing his best Brer Rabbit imitation.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
The uber liberal, dishonest media will serve up their propaganda in hopes that people will abondon Trump and his team's efforts to correct the severe damage wrought upon this nation and its people by the Biden Idiocracy.

It will take time for the efforts Trump is making to manifest in our economy.  I say we will begin to see true results in the 3rd quarter of next year.  It took a couple years for President Reagan to dig the economy out of the stagflation created by Jimmy Carter, the worst POTUS in USA history until Barrack Hussein Obama  came along.  And then, of course, worse yet, his idiot VP who was completely senile and non-functional before he even took office.  The damage from that fixed election, we may never fully recover from.

And remember, the stinking, corrupt, dishonest media complained about everything President Reagan was doing too in his first years in office.
