Man who threw tantrum in California Great Clips sentenced to prison

SANTEE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — August Marriott was sentenced to six years in prison Tuesday for assault charges stemming from an incident in January during which he verbally assaulted and became violent with employees at a Great Clips salon in Santee.

Marriott, 28, was seen in a widely circulated video throwing shampoo bottles and berating employees after being denied service for being an hour late to his appointment.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred after Marriott was told he was late for his appointment and had arrived at the salon, located in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road, demanding to get a haircut.

Workers at Great Clips called SDSO, but Marriott drove away before deputies arrived. Authorities later tracked him down with help from the public.

In California, there are murderers who don't get sentenced to that much time. *****rollingeyes*****
