Federal immigration officers have been warned that gang members in the Chicago area are authorized to open fire on them amid surging violence in the sanctuary state of Illinois.

Customs and Border Protection circulated an internal Officer Safety Alert that was obtained by NewsNation correspondent Ali Bradley.

“On November 8, 2025, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) received credible information indicating that Latin Kings leadership has authorized a ‘shoot on sight’ directive targeting immigration officer/agents conducting immigration enforcement activities in support of Operation Midways Blitz in Chicago and surrounding areas,” the notification states.

“Officer/agents are reminded to maintain heightened situational awareness and exercise extreme caution when conducting enforcement activities.”

Sounds like it's long past time to get medieval on their sorry a$$es, or at a minimum, "The Untouchables" style.
