Voicemail reveals left-wing candidate’s death wishes to GOP opponent: ‘I hope you die in the street like a dog’

The latest exposed example of violent rhetoric from the left found a Democrat candidate justifying her threatening voicemail “in the time of rising fascism.”

Now, a telling voicemail from Helena City Commission leftist candidate Haley McKnight reveals her thoughts on Montana Sen. Tim Sheehy (R), including her hope he suffered a horrific death and a promise that he’d “regret it” if they met in person.
“Hi, this is Haley McKnight. I’m a constituent in Helena, Montana,” began the voicemail, reportedly left for Sheehy’s Helena district on July 1, according to the National Review, innocently enough before rolling out the rhetoric.
“I just wanted to let you know that you are the most insufferable kind of coward and thief. You just stripped away healthcare for 17 million Americans, and I hope you’re really proud of that. I hope that one day you get pancreatic cancer, and it spreads throughout your body so fast that they can’t even treat you for it,” continued the rant against the former U.S. Navy SEAL in the wake of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. “I hope you die in the street like a dog.”
McKnight, seeking one of two open spots on the commission, went on to wish ill on the senator’s reproductive health before issuing a threat as she said, “One day, you’re going to live to regret this. I hope that your children never forgive you. I hope that you are infertile. I hope you never manage to get a boner ever again. You are the worst piece of sh*t I’ve ever, ever, ever had the misfortune of looking at, and you don’t serve Montanans, you serve your own private interests. All that you have done since you have gotten into power is do sh*t for yourself. God forbid that you ever meet me on the streets because I will make you regret it. F*ck you. I hope you die.”
When sought for comment by the National Review, the candidate defended her desire to “fight him on site” as she argued, “In the time of rising fascism, we shouldn’t be afraid to say these things.”
She further insisted to Fox News Digital, “I’m a constituent, and I was responding to some horrible policy with some justified rage.”
