Trump’s MRI scan raises specter of secrecy in presidential health
by Nathaniel Weixel - 11/02/25 6:00 AM ET

President Trump’s off-the-cuff disclosure that he underwent an MRI scan is raising fresh questions about the secrecy surrounding Trump’s health and the need for presidents to be more transparent.

Trump is the oldest person to be elected president, and his aides and allies have long projected him as the picture of strength and vitality.

Outside physicians initially raised questions after Trump visited Walter Reed Military Medical Center earlier this month for what the White House described as a routine follow-up visit, though it was his second visit in six months.

A note from his physician pronounced Trump in “excellent overall health.”

Later, Trump disclosed that he underwent an MRI and a cognitive test during the secondary physical.

“I got an MRI, it was perfect,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One.

This, after four years of drooling, non-sequiturs, angry displays and falling up the stairs by his predecessor?

Well, thanks, Leftists, for your concern, but for a man in his job, he seems to be doing just fine.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I did not see anything in the article to indicate which part of his body was scanned. It does not say it was his brain (which probably would be a CT scan, wouldn't it?)

For all we know, he may be experiencing shoulder pain and they did the MRI to look for a rotator cuff tear, or some such thing.

I’ve had 2 MRI’s of my brain (it’s a marvel).  All good.

Hate to tell the loony left, but MRI's are part of some folk's routine physicals.  In fact mine is always prescheduled before the routine,

I've had two of them already this year, plus the CT SCan ...for constant lightheadedness.  Not dehydrated...(Deer Park wants to make me a board member)

Of course, they've found nothing.

Going on 80yrs old....had I known I would live this long, would have taken better care of myself!

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
The utter desperation to equivocate is beyond hypocrisy. Somehow speculation and conspiracy theory are now equal to Biden's documented decline for all to see.

Okay, thanks for that info. I had no idea they did MRIs on the noggin. Nevertheless, does the article say they scanned Trump's brain?
