CBP to put border buoys along Rio Grande, agency confirms

Footage from 2023 taken by Border Report shows the 1,000-foot-long string of border buoys put in the Rio Grande in Eagle Pass, Texas, by Operation Lone Star, the state-funded border security initiative. The string cost $1 million. Now the federal government is planning on putting 538 miles of border buoy waterborne barrier on the border, CBP confirmed on Oct. 22 on their agency website.
