Two of the three suspects are aliens from Jordan and Lebanon.After three suspects were arrested for opening fire during a youth baseball game in Katy, two were found to have been allowed into the U.S. by the Biden administration.
On Sunday, a coach was struck by a bullet before a game as he was leading the team in prayer. He was hospitalized and has since been released.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed on Friday that two of the three suspects in the shooting, Mustafa Mohammad Matalgah, an alien from Jordan, and Ahmad Mawed, an alien from Lebanon, were given U.S. citizenship and a green card, respectively, under the Biden administration.
“These individuals should never have been allowed into our country,” posted the DHS on X. “Under @POTUS Trump, and @Sec_Noem we are working to prevent attacks like these from ever happening again.”
