American special forces kill senior Isis commander 'actively seeking to attack US' in Syria raid
Story by Sophie Little • 10h

The American military said on Friday that it had killed a senior Isis commander in a raid in Syria.

The Iraqi counterterrorism service confirmed that a senior leader of Isis had been killed in a military operation in Syria which had been carried out in coordination with the US-led international coalition.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on social media: "Omar Abdul Qader was an Isis member actively seeking to attack the United States.

"His death disrupts the terrorist organisation's ability to plot and carry out future attacks threatening Americans and our partners."

Admiral Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander, said: "We will not yield in our pursuit of terrorists seeking to attack the United States, our forces, or allies and partners abroad.

"I commend the efforts of our skilled warfighters and all who supported them during this mission."

Aren't democrats, rinos, and the MSM going to condemn the military for defending America from America's enemies like they do with Venezuelan drug runners? *look*
