Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office

Ten individuals were arrested for an alleged planned attack on the Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas, last month. U.S. Attorney Nancy E. Larson stated that around 10 to 12 suspects, dressed in black military-style clothing, set off fireworks and vandalized the facility.

The case remains in the pre-trial phase, with the investigation ongoing. Named suspects include Elizabeth Soto, Ines Soto, Nathan Baumann, Maricela Rueda, Seth Sikes, Joy Gibson, Savannah Batten, Autumn Hill, and Zachary Evetts. An eleventh suspect, Daniel Rolando-Sanchez Estrada, faces charges of conspiracy to tamper with evidence. A twelfth suspect, Benjamin Hanil Song, a former U.S. Marine Corps reservist, was captured after a weeklong manhunt. If convicted, penalties could reach life imprisonment.
