Fishrrman "not as shaky as usual™" prediction:
Before too much longer, expect Minnesota to pass a law similar to that of either the New York "SAFE" act or Connecticut's "assault weapons ban" (which was passed after the Sandy Hook killings).

In Connecticut, if you didn't register your AR-style rifle with the state (after a certain grace period), you're now a felon by default.
Also in CT, you can't even buy .22 ammo without presenting a state-issued firearms card.

You folks in states where gun rights are respected simply have no idea how things are in the leftist states. I wouldn't be surprised to see more blue states pass "anti-AR" legislation, as they turn even more blue by redistricting Republican-held House seats completely "out of" their states...

Well, I live in North Dakota, but when visiting back East, I recall people looking wildly about if someone mentioned guns, as if they were afraid the Gestapo were listening in.

It felt good to get home to a free state.
