Man killed his girlfriend's ex-husband outside birthday party, then dragged his body down the street: Police

A 31-year-old man in Texas has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend's ex-husband, fatally stabbing the 44-year-old victim outside of a birthday party over the weekend.
Jamarcus Dewayne Doggett was taken into custody and charged with one count of murder in the slaying of Wesley A. Agent, authorities announced.
According to a news release from the Lufkin Police Department, the fatal stabbing took place in the early morning hours on Saturday. Officers at about 2:30 a.m. responded to a 911 call regarding a disturbance in the area of the 900 block of Glenn Street. Upon arriving at the scene, police learned that an adult male victim, later identified as Agent, suffering from apparent stab wounds, had been transported to a local hospital by a personal vehicle.
The suspected assailant, identified as Doggett, had left the scene.
