From the UN to CNN, a Dangerous Narrative Has Taken Hold — That Israel’s Military Response to Hamas Is “Disproportionate.”
But what would true proportionality look like?
Would it mean Israeli soldiers storming into Gaza, raping teenagers in front of their families, beheading babies, setting families on fire, Dragging grandmothers in their pajamas out of their beds and gleefully filming the carnage? Would it mean targeting concertgoers, burning children alive, mutilating bodies, and dragging them through the streets to cheering crowds?
Of course not. Israel would never do this.
This is what Hamas — and Palestinians who supported them — did on October 7.
And yet, the world demands restraint from the one country acting in self-defense — not only on behalf of its own citizens, but on behalf of civilization itself. What other nation is asked to endure a slaughter of its people and respond with “measured force”?
