Come to think about it, that's right!
"Climate fatigue" is just as real as any other form of propaganda overload.
Extremely expensive (and sometimes inappropriate) "solutions" for alleged problems that have been going to lead to the end of the world (in the next ten years!) for the last four decades have finally broken through the fog of panic and been seen for what they are: an agenda based boondoggle (not a simple alternative) funded from the pubic coffers and through increased cost, with little, if any, improvement to the alleged problem they were supposed to remedy.
In the meantime, the siphoning off of funding, the lack of competence, not getting the job done, lead to either surrender to the prophets (profits?) of doom, and a drastically fatalistic attitude in youth (often bordering on self-destruction) or a serious effit attitude that just looks for the cheapest and most effective way to get by--and that way is NOT the Green New Deal.
But there have been enough years of enough lies that either the younger generations are 'all in' with the propaganda or they just don't believe much of anything they have been told.
