Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) (and hopefully the future Governor of NY) slams Félix Matos Rodríguez, Chancellor of the City University of New York (CUNY), for his failed response to antisemitism on campus – including forcing Jewish students to enter a campus building under a swastika

At a heated House Education Committee hearing, Rep. Elise Stefanik slammed CUNY Chancellor Félix Matos Rodríguez over the university’s non-response to antisemitic graffiti and faculty links, including the Muslim Chief Diversity Officer, who is a former employee of designated terrorist group Hamas-linked CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations). She criticised CUNY for allowing a large swastika to remain visible at Hunter College for hours, forcing Jewish students to walk beneath it. While the Chancellor called the symbol “deplorable,” he defended the delay by citing an NYPD hate crime probe, in yet another attempt to DEFLECT, DENY, and DODGE accountability.
