As Americans prepared to celebrate the 249th birthday of the United States, Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) took to social media to criticize President Donald Trump’s trade policies, blaming them for rising costs at Independence Day cookouts.
 
Schiff claimed that tariffs implemented under the Trump administration were responsible for increasing prices on traditional holiday items.

“Going shopping for your 4th of July cookout today? Trump’s tariffs are making it a lot more expensive,” Schiff posted on X Thursday night.

He's such a buffoon. Even food prices have come down, not that this elitist clown ever darkened the door of a Ralph's or Piggly Wiggly.
