I have a feeling he'll be the gift that keeps on giving.
Which is why I'm not losing sleep over him winning a primary.
I might lose some sleep over the right-wing intelligentsia (which, inasmuch as it still exists in the era of Trump, is a misnomer) demanding we all throw our weight behind Adams or worse, Cuomo, when there's still a Republican candidate.
The Democrats chose their man. Why should we automatically presume, even in New York City, that the Democrats get the final say on who's elected? Instead, we have the right wing so panicked that they're talking about invoking the Communist Control Act. You do realize how horrible of a look it is to throw a political candidate out of the country for his beliefs, in the middle of an election, right? Republicans do that, and they lose any right to complain about "lawfare" over the President's bribery convictions.
