Various U.S. states have adopted different licensing policies which have reportedly complicated matters for drivers lacking legal status. Florida and Wyoming recently restricted the use of out-of-state driver's licenses issued to undocumented immigrants, while Tennessee plans similar laws. The moves come amid a growing trend among Republican-led states to tighten rules against undocumented drivers.
