LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 26-year-old woman was charged with murder Friday after she told police she stabbed her girlfriend to death in their apartment in Madison, Indiana.

The Madison Police Department said officers responded around 2:30 a.m. to Regatta Court in the Presidential neighborhood, just east of Clifty Drive in North Madison.

According to court documents, officers responded to the apartment on a report that a woman was "actively stabbing" her girlfriend. Several officers arrived, forcing their way into the apartment to hear screaming and crying from upstairs. ...

Dennison was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out, and while there, police said she asked an officer "did I kill her?" According to the probable cause affidavit, she told officers she "is supposed to take medication for depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia, but has not taken her medication in a long time." ...

Madison, Ind. — A trans activist woman has been charged after allegedly stabbing her girlfriend to death and allegedly attempting to murder three family members on April 25, 2025.
Court documents say that Tori Michelle Dennison, 26, had been drinking and arguing with her girlfriend, Casey Kellan Hilt. After Hilt went to bed, Dennison allegedly picked up a knife and stabbed Hilt repeatedly until she died. She then allegedly tried to stab her family members in the home. The police arrived before she could continue her alleged intended murder spree.
Dennison has a criminal history of domestic violence before the killing but was spared prison time.
Her social media shows multiple posts about transgender activism, support for BLM, abortion and screeds against homophobia.

Ngo reports: A trans activist woman who identifies as a man has been charged for allegedly stabbing a woman to death and attempting to murder 3 others. Tori Dennison's social media is filled with posts saying right-wing figures inspire anti-queer murder.
