Michelle Obama's slammed as a hypocrite after revealing the Trump policy that 'keeps her awake at night'

Michelle Obama has been slammed as a hypocrite after claiming that Donald Trump's immigration policy 'keeps her up at night' on a new podcast.

The former first lady, 61, made the comment during an appearance on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast Monday alongside her brother, Craig Robinson.

While discussing race and fear, Michelle confessed that she is no longer worried about herself, but is afraid for migrants under the Trump Administration.

However, her comments were met with ridicule on social media - where many pointed out that Barack Obama deported more than three million illegal immigrants over the course of his presidency from 2009 to 2017.

A total of 65,682 illegal immigrants removed within Trump's first 100 days, a Department of Homeland Security official revealed to the Daily Mail.

Michelle, who is married to the harshest enforcer of immigration laws in American history, decried: 'In this current climate, for me it's what's happening to immigrants. It's not the fear for myself anymore.
