All-Female Romanian Burglary Gang Arrested on Long Island, NY

Four citizens of Romania have been arrested amid an investigation into a slew of home burglaries on Long Island, New York.

On Wednesday, the Nassau County Police Department (NCPD) announced charges against four females suspected of terrorizing residents across the island during the past five weeks.

The gang is suspected of breaking into at least seven residences in Nassau County between March 14 and April 15.

“According to Detectives, four female subjects did enter into multiple residences without authority or permission and proceeded to steal a large amount of US Currency and personal belongings before fleeing the scene,” NCPD explained in a press release.

THANK YOU ... for reminding me of this song. Haven't thought of this in many decades.
This is one of my earliest memories. My mother loved Cher at that time. This song was everywhere.
