US Marines get next-gen missile-launching boats with helicopter-like striking power
In a significant milestone for Australian defense manufacturer The Whiskey Project Group, the company has successfully delivered its first batch of four multi-mission reconnaissance boats to the U.S. Marine Corps.
This delivery follows a series of California pre-delivery assessments carried out by Marine Corps personnel, ensuring that the vessels meet the necessary operational standards.
Darren Schuback, CEO of The Whiskey Project Group, highlighted the achievement, stating that the acceptance of their Whiskey Bravo vessels signifies a crucial step in their goal to supply specialized watercraft designed with the needs of operators in mind.
He explained the importance of these boats in enhancing the safety and effectiveness of personnel engaged in maritime operations.
