I want you to notice Dr Bhattacharya's response to staff cuts. He is not there yet, and he knows the approach by Musk is assinine. Musk needs to be reigned in and focus exclusively on fraud and abuse. The blanket haircut for the workforce is just plain ignorance on his part.
The hearing for the head of the CDC happens next week. Trump/Musk are making cuts at an agency tied to the wellbeing of Americans without a spokesperson. Literally 20% of the CDC is being cut with no one there to speak up and tell Musk you are a jack*ss!!!! And guess what, the do nothing folks are being protected.
