Local Pennsylvania politician staged hate crime by planting noose at her OWN desk, cops claim

A local politician in Pennsylvania has been accused of attempting to pose as a victim of a hate crime by planting a noose at her own desk, cops have said.

Allentown Police Department said LaTarsha Brown reported finding the rope on the desk of her office on the morning of January 10 this year.

The department launched a criminal investigation and submitted the noose to the Pennsylvania State Police crime lab for DNA testing.

On March 10, forensic investigators found Brown's DNA on swabs from both the outer surface and inner knotted portion of the noose after it was taken apart.

No one else's DNA was detected on any part of the rope.

The damning finding came after cops trawled video surveillance and building access control records to identify which city employees were present on the third floor of Allentown City Hall where Brown works to try to identify the suspect.

Cops interviewed each employee and asked them to provide a buccal swab for DNA testing.

Can't remember the last time one of these noose incidents wasn't a self-perpetrated hoax.

It is necessary to begin prosecuting episodes like this as actual hate crimes, because it is.

The individual in question committed a heinous act by spreading hate between races.

No room for that behavior in this country

A "Social Justice Ambassador" and DEI advocate for Allentown School District @AllentownSD in Pennsylvania has been charged with fabricating physical evidence after she claimed to be a victim of a racist noose incident at work.

Suspect LaTarsha Brown also works for the city.

Allentown mayor Matt Tuerk @mattformayor21, a Democrat, told local media that the incident nevertheless has "helped lead conversations in City Hall" about inclusivity. Brown's liberal friends said that the police investigation conclusion is a racist "smear campaign."

Left-wing hate crime hoaxes are a regular phenomenon in the U.S. due to incentives that hoaxers can receive socially, financially and professionally. Most get away with it.
