New York City Mayor Eric Adams and US President Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan announced a "game changer" collaboration Friday to strengthen immigration enforcement.
The plan includes reopening an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office on Rikers Island, where Adams admitted to houses "some of the most dangerous people," to deport undocumented immigrants accused of crimes.
Homan called it a “game changer.”
"Getting back in Rikers Island is a game changer. Not only do we get the bad guys really hitting the streets, the intelligence of how (Tren de Aragua) operates, where they're operating, all this intelligence they gather at Rikers Island, we have access to," Homan said alongside Adams on a Fox & Friends program.
