Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries Calls to Fight Trump’s Agenda ‘In the Streets’

Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is facing blowback after calling for supporters to fight President Donald Trump’s agenda not only legislatively but “in the streets.”

“Right now, we’re going to keep focused on the need to look out for everyday New Yorkers and everyday Americans who are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda that is trying to cut taxes for billionaire donors and wealthy corporations and then stick New Yorkers and working class Americans across the country with the bill,” Jeffries said during a press conference on Friday.

“That’s not acceptable. We are going to fight it legislatively. We’re going to going to fight it in the courts, and we’re going to fight it in the streets,” he added.

Trump/Musk are the fools.

Their approach to reducing the federal government resource pool could not be more foolish if they tried.  What these two are attempting to do will destroy Republican candidates for Congressional positions turning both houses of Congress back to the Dems by large numbers.

It is pure idiocy!!!

I spent a lifetime going through corporate and government operations streamlining them.  The approach of Trump/Musk is pure idiocy that will destroy majority positions in both houses of Congress come 22 months!

There is a way to approach reducing cost, and their approach is not used normally, not even in most corporate enterprises.  Musk with his Aspergers has no ability to feel compassion at any level.  Trump is following his lead, and it is down the wrong path to destruction.

The threatening letters Trump is broadcasting to all federal employees daily have them terrified, and angered.  Fact is, most of them are not leaving the government, for they do have jobs they need to perform.  But what Trump is doing is turning the entire federal workforce, and some of their spouses away from the Republican Party.  Come 2026, the Republican candidates are going to be bent over and mutilated at the ballot box.

And what they are doing is providing the Democommies with their primary plank for 2026 in 22 months.

My wife is a federal employee and has NEVER voted for a Democrat.  Not ever!  She said today she is voting Democrat in 2026.  Her branch are all high credentialed scientists/doctors, and they work hard.  They are terrified, and they are becoming angry with Trump because of his idiot memos addressed to the entire federal workforce.

Musk has no idea how to get things done in government.  Believe me, it does not operate the same as for profit America.  Trump should know better, but he is enamored with Musk, and that foolish mindset will destroy the Republican Party come November, 2026.  Mark my words.

It would take decades to go on a case-by-case basis to clean out the federal employee roster. Sometimes cleaning house in bulk is the only practical action. Let's see what actually happens and we can go from there. There's a lot of dead weight out there and if this is what takes to trim it off that's a good thing longterm.
