By "working class" I'm sure she means black renters and illegal immigrants. I haven't heard yet one sob story about how hard the fires have been on illegals. I'm sure holloweird would have an absolute melt down ($$$$$) against the site if someone were to print one.
So, she's just trying to stir the witch's cauldron for whatever reason?
I suspect many, if not most, of the people residing in Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and even Brentwood are "working people," too, you stupid California raisin.
Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Brentwood have retail/food workers, trades and contractor workers, and service (legal, banking, accounting, etc.) workers? Who knew? While Mad Maxine is trying to play the Economic Envy Card, I have seen economic-envy stereotyping from conservative sources, as well.
In the real world, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altadena,_California#2020 , Altadena is ~42% white, ~17% black, etc., ordinary residents, not mostly illegals.Altadena is not in Mad Maxine's district and may not be in the district neighboring hers. She just has a loud mouth and is correct in the sense that Pacific Palisades is getting most of the MSM attention.
I remember Mad Max making the same plea for those in North Carolina….Oh, wait.
North Carolina is across the country, while Altadena is in the same metro area as Mad Maxine's district. Altadena is closer to home for Mad Maxine.
