They should blame themselves for choosing Merrick Garland - a Keebler elf eunich.

In retrospect, McConnell was right to keep Garland off the US Supreme Court.

Desperate? no.

Their basic profile reveals they are vindictive, that "someone must pay", and the last person they will blame is themselves. In their anger, Garland will be their whipping boy.

Consider, that even with near control of the narrative, of mass media in print and broadcast and cable, of numerous social media platforms, they failed to retain power. The people would not buy their bullsh*t in sufficient numbers for them to retain control, so they are wrecking the store on the way out.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
