It is thinly possible there was some sort of mechanical issue with the truck...

Yea, the mechanical issue was the driver.

If there was a real mechanical issue with the truck, you would red flag the truck as dangerous and bring it back in or call for a tow if it was that bad that it couldn't be driven back in.

If the truck will not lock into park, the truck is dangerous!!!!!!! and it goes to the shop for repair and not be on the road.

Yeah. It had a loose nut behind the wheel.

The truck should have a parking brake even if 'park' doesn't work. If neither of those work, the truck should be taken back to the shop for repairs. If you get canned for refusing to drive a dangerous vehicle, you have recourse (for having been fired illegally).

While I don't disagree, if there was a failure, it could have happened right then. Like I said, very thin, but possible... The odds are very high that it was driver error, but shit does happen...

You can see at the begining of the video, that this driver did not close the driver's door and secure the vehicle to start with. Driver left the door open and left the vehicle unsecued, truck not put in park, truck's parking brake not used two times. Fire the DEI mental midge!, He is dangerous!!!
