Dangerous MS-13 Gangbanger Under Deportation Order Shielded from ICE by Sanctuary Officials
 
Federal authorities say they apprehended a Salvadoran gangbanger convicted of assault after authorities in a Massachusetts sanctuary jurisdiction ignored an immigration detainer and released him back on the street.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced the recent arrest of 24-year-old Jose Luis Castro Jovel, an illegal alien and known MS-13 gang member, in Northampton, MA.

Castro Jovel illegally entered the U.S. at an unknown location and date.

He was later order removed by a Department of Justice immigration judge in March of 2023, but he remained in the country.

Any and all subsequent crimes he commits, those who released him should be charged with also.

At a minimum, they are accomplices.
Just like the getaway driver can be charged with armed robbery or murder...

Good grief.  Just issue a warrant for his arrest.  Charge him with entering the country illegally.   And prosecute him.  There is no sanctuary against that.  And if Massachusetts officials fail to honor an arrest warrant, then charge them with felony obstruction of justice.  To hell with an immigration detainer.

The incoming administration is going to need to go all out to bring "pressure to bear" upon the state of Massachusetts -- make an example of the place.

Yep, Homan is reminding everyone this is federal law so the state does not have jurisdiction.
