Over at The View, Whoopi Goldberg asserts that Pete Hegseth 'clearly does not know anything about the military'

Someone once said that there are lies, damned lies, and statistics. I posit that there is a fourth kind of lie, ‘preposterous’ lies. A preposterous lie is one so bold and opposite of reality that you can’t believe you heard it correctly.

Sadly, these lies have become so preposterously frequent of late that they may no longer be considered preposterous, or at least unexpected. These are the lies in which Democrats and their supporters traffic.

One such lie was told by The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg recently. She said that Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for Secretary of Defense, “clearly does not know anything about the military.”

In her defense, I do have to give credit to Whoopi Goldberg for one thing.  As most of you know, I have been very critical of Trump's liberal fiscal tendencies and his willingness to side with the Establishment in the past.  I was very cynical of this 2024 election and have not been eager to take on another eight trillion in debt over the next four years.  (I sincerely hope I am wrong in that).  Anyway, I was going into this election determined to write in someone (likely Mo Brooks) or to vote third party.  But with only a week or so to go, I finally heard that one comment that pushed me to change my mind and vote for Trump.  And that comment came from Whoopi Goldberg.

Whoopi said that if Trump got elected, he was going to deport anyone in a mixed-race marriage.  I immediately pictured my son and daughter-in-law and became angry that someone would try to frighten them with such utter nonsense about an election.  It really pissed me off that someone would say this to my family, my precious son and daughter-in-law, lying so brazenly in order to frighten them to vote for Harris.  And that was the moment when I shifted.  That's the moment when I decided to abandon Mo Brooks and cast my vote for Donald Trump.

Thank you, Whoopi, for helping me make up my mind.  That was one more vote that Trump got, all because of your pathetic lying fear-mongoring ass.

One more vote among millions of 'one more vote for Trump'. All the hysterics the Left pushed during the election were driving people toward Trump.

The idea that Trump was 'presiding over a Nazi rally', really pissed off all the people who had experience with 'real' Nazi rallies and it infuriated and motivated all the people at those rallies.

The idea that Trump would persecute transgenders by banning them from female sports is supported by almost 80% of Americans.

The idea that Trump would round-up and deport illegals and criminals, as if that is something awful, is supported by a strong majority of Americans including by Latinos.

I could go on indefinitely. In short, all the apocalyptic catastrophes the breathless Liberals were losing their minds over, are all things which everyone knew were outright lies and falsehoods, or they were things most Americans support.

The more they exhorted how Trump is a 'puppet of Putin' and that 'Trump hates veterans', the more ignorant and stupid they made themselves. Just before the election when they sensed that they may lose, the lies they began to puke up about Trump and JD became so farfetched and so soaked in very obvious deception and hypocrisy that the Leftist talking heads simply became silly.

TRUMP IS HITLER!! TRUMP IS HITLER!! TRUMP IS HITLER!! (*yawn* give me a break you idiot) They could not get it through their thick brainwashed heads that nobody gives a damn about Hitler. The fact that they thought this would sell in 2024 is nothing short of amazing.

Millions of people began to think, "If these are the kinds of Leftist maniacs voting for Kamala, then I am voting for Trump." Kamala's fanatical cheerleaders and her loony supporters were a substantial factor in driving people to Trump.

In the end they all became fanatical clowns and flim-flam shills trying to convince people that the Earth will come to a crashing end if they vote for Trump. And the people did not buy what they were selling.

Whoopi on her best day is a horse's *ss!  ABC is dying in many ways, and the show THE VIEW is such a garbage show, I honestly do not understand why ABC keeps the show going.

In the 90s, my family were avid viewers of the prime time shows on ABC.  I remember Tim Allen, his show Home Improvement, and other comedy shows that were very entertaining.  I haven't watched a program on ABC in over 10 years, maybe 20 years.  It has become a garbage network ever since Warren Buffett bought it.
