SAN DIEGO (Border Report) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents interdicted three maritime human smuggling attempts within a 24-hour period this week, the agency said.

One event took place about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Agents from CBP’s San Diego Air and Marine unit reportedly spotted a 23-foot fishing vessel as it dropped off four individuals at Dana Landing in Mission Bay, about 5 miles north of downtown San Diego.
According to CBP, agents immediately approached the four subjects onboard and determined they were illegally present in the U.S.
